1. Who we are

Miziba Infrastructure Ltd ("Miziba", "we") is the data controller for personal data processed through this website and our products. We are incorporated in Ghana and operate from Accra, with a presence in London. Contact our data team at hello@miziba.com.

2. What we collect

• Contact details you provide — name, email, phone, organisation and message content when you use our forms.
• Verification & KYC data for participants — national identity, company registry, professional licence, tax and insurance status.
• Activity evidence tied to transactions — inspection reports, photos and documents, and the audit records of escrow and settlement events.
• Technical data — limited log and device information, and cookies as described in our Cookies section.

3. Why we use it (lawful basis)

• To respond to enquiries and provide the services you request (contract / legitimate interest).
• To verify identity and eligibility, and to prevent fraud (legal obligation / legitimate interest).
• To operate escrow, verification and settlement, and to maintain the audit record (contract).
• With your consent, to understand site usage through analytics.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal data only as needed to deliver the service: with licensed banking and payment partners who hold funds, with certified verifiers and professional bodies for verification, and with institutional financiers where you are party to a financed transaction. We do not sell personal data. Where financiers require it, verified status and relevant transaction records may be disclosed to them as part of that transaction.

5. International transfers

Where data moves between Ghana and the United Kingdom, we apply appropriate safeguards consistent with Act 843 and applicable law.

6. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, or as required by law and regulation (for example, financial and audit record-keeping). Audit records tied to transactions are retained for the periods our regulatory and institutional obligations require.

7. Your rights

Under Act 843 you may request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion where applicable, and you may object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact hello@miziba.com. You may also lodge a complaint with Ghana's Data Protection Commission.
