Trade finance that funds verified commodity, not promises.
Miziba Trade is the verification and settlement infrastructure behind structured agricultural trade finance — where capital deploys only against physically verified, quality-assessed, already-sold consignments, and the bank is repaid first.
A bank should never finance procurement risk. It should finance a verified consignment already sold to a committed buyer — and be repaid before anyone else is paid.
The verification gate
Capital releases only when commodity is received, weighed, quality-assessed and loaded at a TradePoint hub — confirmed by a Loading Certificate. Everything upstream is the aggregator's own risk; the facility begins only once the trade is de-risked.
Replace with real photography
Capital moves the moment the commodity is real.
Received, weighed, graded, insured and loaded — the physical events a Loading Certificate certifies before a bank is ever exposed.
Six conditions before a cedi moves
The bank's exposure begins at drawdown, not before. By that point every one of these is already true.
Bank principal, repaid first
The offtaker pays directly into one ring-fenced settlement account. Within 24 hours, proceeds distribute in a fixed waterfall — and nothing below the first line pays until the bank is whole. Self-liquidating, every cycle.
A 22–30 day domestic cycle allows the facility to revolve multiple times through a harvest season. Programme cash never passes through the trader.
The infrastructure that gates it
Miziba Infrastructure Ltd operates the control layer that converts unsecured agricultural exposure into asset-verified, self-liquidating trade finance — visible to the bank in real time.
Verified at source
Physical hubs where commodity is received, weighed, graded and loaded — the origin of every Loading Certificate.
The drawdown gate
Every advance is gated against a verified Loading Certificate. No certificate, no capital.
Chain of custody
GPS monitoring plus a human escort on every consignment, hub to delivery, with exception reporting.
Real-time visibility
The bank sees escrow, loading and settlement events as they happen — not in a monthly report.
Atomic settlement
The ring-fenced escrow-and-settlement account that enforces the bank-first waterfall automatically.
Ring-fenced & audited
An independent SPV director and separate audit firms across borrower, SPV and operator. Related parties disclosed in full.

A six-year, zero-default track record — now made bankable.
"We had the farmers, the offtakers and the record. What we lacked was a structure a bank could lend into with confidence. Miziba's verification gate is exactly that — the trade is de-risked before a cedi moves."

Layered protection
Trader first-loss equity
The trader posts substantial first-loss capital into escrow before any drawdown — the first buffer absorbing loss, ahead of the bank.
Insured, escorted transit
Goods-in-Transit cover bound before dispatch, GPS chain-of-custody, and a field escort on every consignment through to acceptance.
Credit enhancement
Programme structured to accommodate third-party credit enhancement and bank-side guarantee instruments recognised for capital adequacy.
